Guest-editor Dushko Petrovich and various contributors will enact a live-format preview of their forthcoming issue of Art Papers, which is devoted entirely to the topic of art magazines. Essays, columns, reviews, and artists projects will be presented in the space, unfolding loosely and conversationally along the lines of the print publication itself. Social, historical, visual, financial, and other aspects of the art magazine will be addressed, with ample opportunity for audience participation—and very few ads. Participants include (in no particular order) Matt Borruso, Gwen Allen, Brian Droitcour, Susan Bee, David Gutiérrez Castañeda, Leora Maltz-Leca, Julian Myers, Ben Davis, William Powhida, Sara Greenberger Rafferty, Jeremy Sigler, Project Projects, Sarah Hromack, Karen Archey, Sandra Skurvida, John Tain.
